Swedese Brasilia Coffee Table by Claesson Koivisto Rune

Brasilia is a collection of coffee tables designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune for the Swedese brand. Made of natural lacquered oak or natural lacquered walnut veneer laminate.

With the creation of this refined coffee table, the Swedish studio wanted to challenge the rules of conventional design: a universal language through the use of a warm, natural, and resistant raw material, that is, wood. Brasilia is created in a single piece of layer-glued laminate and carefully joined together completely without visible joints. Its trapezoidal geometry imposes itself at the centre of the room, bold lines melting into soft curves. The Brasilia coffee table is a perfect piece of furniture to place next to your sofa, on which to place decorative objects, books, or devices. Whereas, the empty space inside can be used for storing blankets.
