Artek Alvar Aalto Natural Birch Armchair 401 - (Free Upholstery)
The Aalto Model 401 armchair was first designed by Alvar Aalto in 1932. After the success of armchair 402, Aalto recreated the familiar cantilevered shape to produce its high-backed cousin. Upholstered in your choice of fabric, the back of the 401 armchair is slightly tilted to provide adequate support for your head and neck. Slender side panels near the head promote relaxation by slightly minimizing peripheral distractions. Made in Finland by Artek.
This Artek Alvar Aalto Natural Birch Armchair 401 is well-preserved, featuring a frame that remains in excellent shape and foam cushioning in outstanding condition. The upholstery shows minor signs of wear. The price covers reupholstering in any fabric you choice.

For pickups, bring a blanket or padding—especially for large or fragile items. We’ll help you wrap and load, but we’re not responsible for any damage to your item or vehicle during loading.
Items left over 30 days will be considered abandoned and may be donated or placed in storage with monthly fees.
