With its distinctive lines and captivating mix of materials, Jean Prouvé’s 1939 armchair, the Fauteuil de Salon, demonstrates his signature aesthetic – a commitment to utility that doesn’t sacrifice beauty. Its structural steel frame and tubular angled legs are softened by the amply upholstered seat and back. Solid wood armrests add to its inviting presence. Perfect for lounging, the armchair’s understated character suits both classic and contemporary interiors. Although designed in the 1930s, it was rediscovered in Prouvé’s archives and has been reintroduced in a contemporary color palette. Made in Poland.
