Johannes Andersen was born in 1903 in Denmark. After studying cabinet making, he obtained his certificate and then worked in various workshops. In the mid-1930s, he founded his own architectural firm and created more and more furniture. He then began collaborating with various Norwegian and Swedish factories, including Trensum. Andersen was able to take advantage of the great consumer boom of the 1950s and 1960s: the Danes were looking to buy more furniture. He has produced a large number of pieces of furniture, including coffee tables available in several versions, which still appeal and seduce today.
