Designed by Frank Gehry as part of his iconic Power Play series for Knoll, this sculptural lounge chair is a striking example of postmodern design. Crafted entirely from interwoven laminated maple strips, the chair merges architectural innovation with functional comfort. The bentwood ribbons create a dynamic form, offering both structural integrity and visual rhythm.
This particular example is date-stamped 1993 and remains in good vintage condition, showing only light, age-appropriate wear. Gehry’s woven wood seating designs are celebrated for their bold, experimental spirit, and remain highly collectible pieces of 20th-century design. Two matching chairs are available. Price is per.

Most local deliveries within the East Bay and San Francisco can be arranged for $79–$100 and are typically completed within a few days. This rate doesn’t apply to all items and does not cover areas like San Jose, Santa Rosa, Napa Area, or Sacramento, which may incur higher fees. If you're unsure, please reach out before purchasing.

If shipping isn’t charged at checkout, your order won’t ship until it’s paid. We’ll send a custom quote. Shipping is handled by FedEx, UPS, or white glove carriers. Rates are set by the carriers and out of our control.

Pick-Up:

For pickups, bring a blanket or padding—especially for large or fragile items. We’ll help you wrap and load, but we’re not responsible for any damage to your item or vehicle during loading.
Items left over 30 days will be considered abandoned and may be donated or placed in storage with monthly fees.
