Danish Modern "Massive" Teak Cabinet by Althoff 1963
Massive and highly functional teak cabinet designed by Althoff and crafted in Germany in 1963. This Danish Modern-style piece offers a well-balanced mix of storage and display, featuring three tall doors with adjustable interior shelving, a drop-down bar or secretary section with interior glass shelves, and a total of eight drawers below. Clean lines, sculpted drawer pulls, and warm teak grain showcase the refined craftsmanship of the era.
Perfect as a statement storage piece for a living room, dining area, or office. The drop-down door has some tension and requires a bit of force when opening and closing—still fully functional and likely to ease with continued use. One drawer handle shows a small repaired area, though it’s not noticeable. Glued extremely well and won't hinder with functionality. Overall, the cabinet is in very good vintage condition. Sourced from the original owner, with the maker’s label and a dated stamp intact.
