Designed by Nanna Ditzel, the Trinidad chair is one of the most celebrated Scandinavian dining chair designs of the late 20th century. Produced by Fredericia, the chair is instantly recognizable for its sculptural, fan-shaped laminated backrest with delicate cutouts inspired by Caribbean architecture. This set includes a total of six chairs, offering a balanced and architectural presence around a dining table. With their light visual profile, steel frames, and refined proportions, Trinidad chairs work beautifully in both modern and classic interiors.
All six chairs are in really good condition. The molded wood backs are clean and well preserved, the leather upholstered seats show minimal wear, and the frames are structurally sound and stable. Upholstery is original and remains supple and comfortable. Price is for the full set of eight chairs. Typically, sells around $1,500 each. Price is for all 6 chairs. Most local deliveries within the East Bay and San Francisco can be arranged for $79–$100 and are typically completed within a few days. Items left over 30 days will be considered abandoned and may be donated or placed in storage with monthly fees.
