Rare! Bruno Mathsson “Mimat” set of six chairs for Mathsson International
Bruno Mathsson “Mimat” chairs, set of six, designed in 1966 for Mathsson International. These pieces showcase Mathsson’s signature lightness and refined craftsmanship, built in solid birch with the airy woven-web seats that define so much of his work. The silhouette is simple, elegant, and unmistakably Scandinavian, making this set a rare and desirable find from one of Sweden’s most influential designers.
The chairs are in excellent overall condition, showing only very minor signs of use. A couple seats have tiny spots that may be removable with a gentle steam clean. The frames are sturdy, the birch has been well cared for, and the webbing remains tight and supportive. A beautifully preserved and hard-to-find set.

Most local deliveries within the East Bay and San Francisco can be arranged for $79–$100 and are typically completed within a few days. For pickups, bring a blanket or padding—especially for large or fragile items. We’ll help you wrap and load, but we’re not responsible for any damage to your item or vehicle during loading.
Items left over 30 days will be considered abandoned and may be donated or placed in storage with monthly fees.
